May 29th vs Pirates
The Cubs pulled out ANOTHER victory!!! We need to ask for an extention on our season. The cubs
got three outs every inning! The Pirates kept hitting the ball to rightfield and we were ready! The Pirates didn't stand a
chance at first with our Jackson/Tyler duo on the job. Awsome coverage boys! We were ready in centerfield too, weren't we
Joshua Davis and Jeremy! Joshua Davis almost ran down an out at home from the outfield! Pirates watch out next time! Jeremy
made it clear he was there for business, letting nothing get by him. Way to go Jeremy! The cutest play of the game came
from Jaxon. His triple was perfect for the game ball honors, so here's to you Jaxon! ....submitted

4:00pm - Food for players & coaches, (softball and baseball), start being served
5:00pm - Start moving people to 13/14 field. All players should stay with their respected team
on the field.
5:15pm - Start Awards Ceremony
5:45pm - End Awards Ceremony
Catered food is designated for players and coaches. It is not intended for the immediate or extended
families of the player or coach. All others can purchase an armband for $3.00.
Friday 6/6 Banquet @ Heron Bay pool area ****IMPORTANT!---PARENTS
HAVE TO BE PRESENT WITH CHILD AT PARTY--THIS IS MANDATORY FOR THEIR SAFETY!! NO DROP-OFFS WILL BE ALLOWED.
Also, I need to know how many your family will be bringing to the party so I can plan for
food.
Also, if you haven't given me the remainder of your money, please do that asap so that I can pick
up trophies, food, etc.

Our Cubs pulled out another win!!! We really seem to be getting the hang of hitting. Conner blasted
the ball to the outfield each time at bat giving him FOUR RBI's this game! Man was Conner on a roll! Joshua Davis had a double
and TWO RBI's. Hooray Joshua! Jaxon got an RBI and Kaitlyn guarded third getting an out for the Cubs. Way to go guys! Zack
hit his second homerun this season and chased down our final out to give us the win! Great job Zack! Jackson had control at
bat smashing the ball to the outfield every time he was at bat....earning the game ball!!!!! ...submitted by Tyler's mom; Thanks!

The Cubs came out to face Team precision again and did a great job against a very talented team.
They couldn't scare the Cubs, our boys came out to play some ball!
Our little "giggles" Autumn made 2 runs! Go Autumn! Joshua Davis handle the out field
like a champ and wow can he run fast! Jeremy made another Double. We had a couple of hurt feet from Joshua and
Zack but they quickly jumped back up and was ready to play! All the kids deserved a pat on the back for such great effort!
Lastly, Jeremy's mom wants to send a shout out to all the kids and say "sorry I forgot to bring
the snacks!" I promise to make up for it :-)

The Cubs were right back out for another exciting game. Conner made an inside the park home
run and made all of his family proud (Conner had a whole group of relatives out to cheer him on) Jeremy made another
double and Zack threw out 2 runners at 1st. The game was getting very intense and we all have come to the conclusion
that our umpire needed to wake up and be consistent with the calls....can I get an AMEN! We were all very proud of our
Cubs for an excellent day of baseball!!

The game may have been scheduled at the last minute but that didn't shake our Cubs from coming out
and giving it their all. Jaxon made a great unassisted out at second base by fielding a ground ball and tagging out
the runner. Zack had an amazing inside the park home run making it a perfect birthday for his father. Jeremy and
Kaitlin hit doubles. Wow, way to go Cubs!

We won, we won!!!!
Wow what a game today. The cubs were on their toes today and came out to win! Kaitlin
smacked the ball hard for a double. Tyler owned 1st base today as he tagged many players out. Zack stopped
many balls and threw the runners out at first. Cameron stopped a pretty fast grounder with his leg, ouch
but it saved a major run! Also, great throws from the outfield! We made 3 outs every inning; way to go cubs!!!

Another fun game to watch tonight. We made some hard hits and fast runs. We also fielded
some great balls and made some great throws. Cameron made an awesome play that got the runner out at 3rd; way to go
Cameron!!

Another rainy day but the Cubs came out ready to play!
We had a great start with some awesome hits. Jeremy made the first double of the day, Conner
hit it to center field, Kaitlin stopped a ball short of a major play, Joshua Davis made a great out at 2nd base, Jackson almost
caught a pop fly, Tyler kept a close watch at first, Zack made a great single, Jaxon smacked a ball and made it
safely to first base! All of our players were playing some serious ball today and what a sight it was to watch even
with the rain!!

Despite the rain, the cubs came out today ready to play some ball. We made some awesome hits
and "grease-lighting" runs! Tyler caught a pop-fly; way to go!! The cubs really turned up the heat on the last
inning as we watched Tyler hit an in-field home run; wow was it something to watch!

just look through and make sure everything is there so we can resolve any issues if we need to.

Next game is on May 22nd (Thurs.) @ 6:00 pm against the Indians
- Unfortunately, I need to ask for money again. I'm ordering trophies this week, so I will need to have that
covered. The total for the season was $115 per child. Most of you have already paid the $69 uniform fee, so the
balance would be $46. We'll split that into 2 payments, so it's not so much at one time. First payment due this
Saturday of $23. If you have trouble doing this, please see me. Also, I know of a couple of fund-raisers
we can do, and they only take about 2 weeks to complete, so let me know if you're interested.
